According to Ayurvedic tradition, Pashanbheda, also known as "Country Borage", possesses antispasmodic, antilithic, cathartic, stimulating, and stomachic properties, and is traditionally used to treat asthma, chronic cough, dyspepsia, colic, strangury, calculus, gonorrhea and piles.
